Villa Sumba is a traditonal designed villa in a luxuriant tropical garden. A round central common living area with alang alang roof gives access to the three double bedrooms, each in separated pavilions. Two are just next to each other facing the garden and the third one on the ther side of the property opens on the 15 meters large swimming pool. At night, the garden becomes a wonderland of twinkling lights and candles, creating a warm and inviting compliment to the indoor entertaining areas.
Richly decorated in warm blue tones, the entrance leads guests into a circular living area, with a dramatic conical roof, which is open on all sides to lush tropical gardens featuring panoply of native flowers. This lounge hosts a fully equipped kitchen with high bar, next to an 10 seats dining table and a comfortable siting area. A long swimming pool surrounded by natural stone follows the length of the garden, where a garden table and sun beds await guests to offer . The three air conditioned bedrooms are connected to the central living area via covered walkways. Each is accompanied by luxurious ensuite Bali-style open-air bathrooms contained within their own private gardens, and features double bed with mosquito net under a fan cooler and fine antique furnitures. Pondok Bambusa, one of the garden view bedroom, hosts an extra couch, to relax viewing the pond surrounding the pavilion.
At your full service, a manager is supervising 20 shared staff, including 5 housekeepers, 4 cooks, 3 gardeners and pool attendants, 1 driver and 4 security keepers.
